if y’all haven’t read Kate Elliot’s “Cold Magic” series you are missing out. it has awesome POC characters (and an extremely badass WOC main character) set in a steampunk alternate universe where the Ice Age never ended. Also talking dinosaurs and spirit worlds and everything fantasy could and should be.  here’s my rendition of her characters
